Workstation Templates
Overview
Workstation Templates in SparkCloud Studio are saved configurations of an existing workstation.
They allow you to capture a workstation’s setup including operating system, installed software, and resource allocation (CPU, GPU, RAM, storage) and reuse it whenever needed.

This feature is available for organisations. You can learn more about Organisations here.

How to make and use Templates?
1. Upgrade to an Organisation →
To begin creating and managing templates, you need to upgrade your account to an organisation-level subscription.
2. Create a Workstation Template →
Once you have an organisation, simply stop an existing workstation and save it as a template. This will capture the current configuration, including installed software and system settings.
3. Create Workstations from Templates →
Once a template is saved, you can instantly create new workstations from that template, ensuring the same setup and configuration every time.
